Maartje Strijbis Photography


Maartje Strijbis (1985) is an Amsterdam based portrait and documentary photographer, who also likes to do creative and inspiring commercial work.

After she finished cum laude in Theatre studies from the University of Amsterdam and Jazz Vocals at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, Maartje studies photography at the International Institute of Photography the FotoFactory in Amsterdam and gets inspired.

She is intrigued by people, their habits and environments. Due to a broad field of study Maartje works interdisciplinary and with a sharp eye for analytical observation as well as practical creative input. Portraits are her strength.
